HOTEL POLICY

Cancellation Policy

New Reservations: 



Between Memorial Day and Labor Day we require a 30 day advance cancellation. Outside of those dates, (April-Memorial Day) & (Labor Day-November 14) we require a 14 day advance cancellation. Certain rates and room packages require full deposit and are non-cancellable. 



Third Party Reservations: Guests who booked via online travel agents or other third-party travel professionals are advised to contact their booking provider for information on their policies.

Some exclusions may apply. May exclude periods with special event restrictions or peak demand weeks. Please refer to individual property rate rules for details.
For individual reservations booked into a pre-existing group block, please refer to cancellation terms quoted at the time of reservation. For more information, please contact the group organizer or the hotel.

Please note that this policy does not apply to travel associated with a Group booking. For guests with Group reservations (e.g., for meetings, events or conferences), please review the booking rate rules and contact the group organizer/hotel for more information.

Pay Now Rates: These rates are fully prepaid at the time of booking. Once booked, reservations are non-refundable and cannot be modified or cancelled.

Guaranteed Reservation

Reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card at time of booking. Please note, special event dates may have modified deposit and cancellation policies. These rate specific policies will be noted in the price breakdown & policies section. A government issued photo ID will be required at time of check-in. Must be 21 or older to check in. To cover incidentals, $200 will be authorized on your credit card. This will be in the form of a hold on your credit card and will be removed at the end of your stay, should there not be any incidentals.

Early Arrival / Late Departure / Early Departure

Check-in time is 4:00 pm and check-out time is 11:00 am. Arriving early or need that extra hour of sleep? We’ll do our very best to accommodate your request based on availability – kindly let us know in advance. If unavailable, we’ll gladly stow your luggage safely and securely, until you’re ready to move on. Late check-out fees may apply. If you check out or leave before your scheduled departure date, there is a fee of one night’s stay plus tax.

Taxes & Fees

Room rates are subject to the following nightly fees:
Montauk Hotel Occupancy tax of 5.5% per night
State Tax of 8.6%.

PET POLICY

We are a dog-friendly hotel and welcome dogs at Montauk Yacht Club. While on hotel grounds, pets must be on a leash at all times and are permitted only in pet walking areas and guestrooms. The pet fee is $75 per day.

PARKING POLICY

We are currently offering valet parking for $20 per night.
The hotel offers two Tesla charging stations (provided on a first-come, first-served basis).

SMOKING POLICY

Montauk Yacht Club is a non-smoking hotel. Therefore, smoking is not allowed in any public areas such as the pool, food and beverage outlets or guest rooms. A smoking cleaning fee of $400 will be assessed in the event smoking does occur in the guest rooms.



PHOTO POLICY

We love our spaces just as much as you do — and we’re so happy you’re excited to photograph and share! With that in mind, we ask you please respect our highly-designed spaces and the privacy of our hotel guests and visitors while taking any images. Our goal is to create a one-of-a-kind Proper experience for all!



Mobile phone photography is permitted with limitations:



No more than 5 minutes of dedicated photo taking please

Privacy and respect for hotel guests must be observed at all times.

Doors, hallways, passages, elevators, etc. may not be blocked for any reason.

Spaces must remain 100% intact – furniture, design elements, seating, etc. cannot be moved,
rearranged, or stood on.

Respect for the working staff must be considered at all times.

Special Room Options

Cribs & Rollaways

Complimentary cribs are available by request. Rollaway beds are available for an additional $50 per night. Please contact the front desk for more information. (Limited availability).

Connecting Rooms

Connecting rooms are available and vary according to room type. As connecting rooms are limited, please let us know your preferences at the time of booking.

ADA ROOMS

We offer ADA compliant rooms. Please contact our concierge at concierge@montaukyachtclub.com with any speicifc requests.
