This season, The Salty Club introduces new experiences and kids programming to Montauk Yacht Club, including sailing camp, lighthouse movies, time at The Courts and time on the water with surf school, fishing, and more.
THE SALTY CLUB: JOB SURF SCHOOL
Ride the waves of Montauk with the JOB Kid’s Surf School at Montauk Yacht Club, in partnership with pro-surfer Jamie O’Brien and directed by East Coast surf personality Ben Gravy. Available for kids ages 10 and under, trained local instructors provide a 1.5-hour introduction to surfing, creating a safe and fun environment for catching first waves.
Tennis at The Courts
Kids’ lessons and clinics are offered weekly throughout the season at The Courts, our newly renovated racquet center. Private tennis and padel lessons, as well as open play sessions, are also available to book.
Great Lawn pool
Enjoy our family-friendly pool-the perfect place to splash, play, and cool off under the sun. Just steps away from Yachtys, settle in for the day with poolside fun, tasty bites, and plenty of time to unwind.
THE SALTY CLUB: SAILING CAMP x MTK Cruises
Young sailors ages 10–15 are invited to spend the morning on the water with the experienced crew at MTK Cruises. Designed for beginners, the camp introduces the fundamentals of sailing through hands-on instruction, with one-, three-, and five-day options available.
Bikes
Explore Montauk on two wheels with our bikes, perfect for family rides along the waterfront, scenic trails, or day trips into town for local treats in Montauk Village. Visit the Experience Center to rent a bike and get recommendations for family-friendly routes and stops along the way.
THE BEACH
Dig, build, paddle, and play! Borrow complimentary beach toys and sandcastle essentials for endless family fun by the water.
Popsicle bicycle
Cool down in the afternoons on select days with a frozen treat from our charming popsicle bicycle-a pedal-powered cooler offering complimentary sweet treats for guests of all ages, available seasonally.
