Everything New at Montauk Yacht Club in 2026

The 2026 season begins April 2.

After a winter of work, Montauk Yacht Club returns to Star Island with its most significant evolution since Proper Hospitality took the helm in 2024. New dining. A new sports and social club. Summer programming built around culture, music, watersports, family, and the kind of East End energy that can only be found in Montauk.

Here’s what’s coming to the resort.

Alba Spiaggia – A New Table at MYC

The Ocean Club is out. In its place: Alba Spiaggia, a new Italian waterfront dining concept arriving for the 2026 season.

The name translates loosely to “dawn beach.” The concept translates plainly: Italian cooking, open fire, dockside on Lake Montauk. House-made pasta, a wood-fired kitchen, and a menu that takes its cues from the Adriatic as much as the East End. It is the only Italian restaurant on the water in Montauk, and it will be the dining address of the summer.

Alba Spiaggia opens with the full property in mid-May. Programming under the Alba umbrella includes:

The BBQ Series – weekend open-fire dinners on the waterfront through the season.
Shuck Club – Thursdays dockside. Oysters and wine on the water.
The Galley – Summer favorites from our vintage Airstream on the Great Lawn. Cold drinks and grab-and-go, all day.
Alba Bambini – kids pizza workshop. Yes, really. Details to follow.

The Courts – Padel, Pickleball & Tennis

This is a first for Montauk: a dedicated racquet sports facility at the club.

The Courts brings padel, pickleball, and tennis together in one place – with court rentals, clinics, private lessons, and a rotating events calendar throughout the season. The complex includes lounge seating, a viewing area, and F&B service courtside. It is the only padel facility in Montauk.

The 2026 Summer Programming Platform

The programming this season runs across six pillars: The Courts, Alba Spiaggia, music, culture, watersports and wellness, and family. A few highlights below.

Music – Marina Music Sessions with Billboard

Back for its third season, the MYC x Billboard Marina Music Sessions return to Montauk. Live music on the dock, all season. Headlining artists and dates to be announced.

Watersports & Wellness

A full schedule of programming and new experiences including the JOB Surf Experience by pro surfer Jamie O’Brien, Paddle Club sessions, First Light breath work at sunrise, expanded wellness offerings and more will be hosted throughout the season. The Wellness Cabana spa is open from mid-May.

The Salty Club

MYC’s family programming arm gets its own identity in 2026. The Salty Club covers surf lessons, tennis clinics, arts & crafts workshops, Rock n Roll Playhouse, Lighthouse Cinema screenings, and Alba Bambini pizza classes. The full Salty Club calendar launches in April.

About Montauk Yacht Club

Montauk Yacht Club is a 16-acre resort and marina on Star Island, Lake Montauk. The property opened in 1928 as a private social club – its founding members included Vincent Astor, J.P. Morgan, and Harold Vanderbilt – and has been the address at the East End of Long Island ever since. The club operates 106 guest rooms and historic cottages, 228 wet slips accommodating vessels from day cruisers to 300-foot superyachts, three pools, a private beach, and the largest marina in the Hamptons. Operations are managed by Proper Hospitality.
