## About
Montauk Yacht Club is a luxury waterfront resort set across sixteen acres on Lake Montauk at 32 Star Island Road, Montauk, NY 11954. Originally opened in 1928 by Carl Fisher as a private social club, with founding members including Vincent Astor, J.P. Morgan, Edsel Ford, and Harold S. Vanderbilt. In 2022, the property was acquired by Safe Harbor Marinas. In 2024, Proper Hospitality assumed management, bringing luxury lifestyle hospitality to the Hamptons.

The resort features 106 waterfront rooms and suites plus five historic 1928 cottages, the Hamptons' largest full-service marina, three pools, a private beach, and an expanding program of dining, wellness, sports, and cultural experiences for Summer 2026.

106 waterfront guest rooms and suites plus 5 historic 1928 cottages. All rooms include Aesop bath products, Nespresso machines, curated minibars, Chadfield Beautyrest Euro Top mattresses, 37" flat screen TV, premium Wi-Fi, in-room safe, ironing board, and make-up mirror. Most rooms include private patio or balcony. ADA accessible and connecting rooms available.

Opened in 1928 by Carl Fisher as a private social club on Star Island, Montauk. Original membership included Vincent Astor, J.P. Morgan, Edsel Ford, Harold S. Vanderbilt. Charles Lindbergh famously docked his seaplane at the marina. Acquired by Safe Harbor Marinas in 2022. Proper Hospitality assumed management in 2024.
